About Harleigh, CPDT-KA

Harleigh has over 12 years of hands on experience working with dogs. Before becoming a professional trainer, I spent six years raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. An experience that taught me precision, patience, and how to nurture reliable, confident behavior.

For the past 7 years, I’ve been training professionally, working both in a veterinary clinic training puppies and with a small local nonprofit training rescue dogs to become psychiatric service dogs. This unique combination of puppies, service dogs, and rescue dogs means I understand behavior, wellbeing, and daily care from multiple angles, and I’m able to support dogs with a wide range of needs.

Harleigh’s a CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed)—which means she don’t just love dogs, she is professionally trained, tested, and committed to doing right by them.

This nationally recognized certification reflects a deep understanding of canine behavior, learning theory, and humane, science-backed training methods.

Harleigh also complete ongoing continuing education to stay current and sharp. Translation? You’re working with a trainer who blends knowledge, kindness, and proven techniques to build confident dogs, stronger relationships, and a whole lot of tail wags along the way.

Harleigh’s training style builds strong communication and a trusting bond between you and your dog. the approach focuses on simple, effective games and strategies that fit naturally into everyday routines. By keeping training consistent, engaging, and fun for both humans and dogs, we create lasting results and a confident & engaged companion.
